New Technology Awareness Page
The goal of this workshop is to get you to start thinking about the tools our students use every day and consider using these tools in teaching. For some background and context, read about folksonomy in Wikipedia.
Welcome to the workshop. First, this is an awareness workshop, not a how-to. In order to learn how to work with these technologies, find someone 14 or younger who doesn't have a life. Just kidding, there is a lot to be said for learning how to create these pages by oneself. Exploring and experimenting goes a long way. Also, learn how to do searches for how-to sites that really get into taking advantage of advanced features.
We cannot offer tech support on these tools but can answer some questions and offer a conversation on how they can be integrated into teaching and learning:
