Yet another tool for social bookmarking.

del.ic.ious was just acquired by Yahoo! and is one of the more recent but very popular social bookmarking tools.

del.icio.us will allow you to capture sites and tag them based on your criteria. You can then organize them and view them from any computer with Internet access. The social part is when you view who else has tagged the sites and when you make your sites available for others, e.g., your students, to view. Meta data give you lots of information about the sites you have collected. They look like this:

• edit/delete the item
• see how many others have saved the site
• see when you posted the site
• view the tags you assigned the site
